Black Snake Nylon Mooring Strops replace ground/rising chains and are ideal for marine mooring applications. Unlike chains, the Black Snake Mooring Strops minimize damage to the sea bed’s vegetation around the mooring block/anchor.
The smooth stretch of the nylon core absorbs shock loads in the wave and tidal conditions of the marine environment. The embedded thimbles (heavy duty galvanized or stainless) eliminate fraying of the nylon fibres and the thick rubber cover maintains the full strength of the nylon in salt water and also protects the thimbles.
